PostSecret Meditation

(to be used at Blesséd: Home, 20th Oct 2012 7pm S. Anne’s Glenholt)

A meditation/reflection using submissions to postsecret.com – the most popular advertisement free blog in the world and the home of the PostSecret Project. It begins with an introduction by Frank Warren from a TED talk to set the context of the postcards and then to the tune of Philip Glass & David Bowie’s “Subterrainians” from the Low Symphony, features a host of user-submitted cards.

A postcard home, whether a secret or not, can often be as much about the place you are writing back to as the place where you are sending it from. In order to prepare ourselves to with God at home in these holy, sacred mysteries, let us consider what postcard home we would want to send, and in penitence write our postcard home, to God…

(the penitential rite follows…)
