School Eucharist – Nursery Rhyme Mass
<video removed, sorry>
Please excuse my singing. If you had told me twelve years ago that I would be singing regularly, unaccompanied and in front of 400+ people, I would have cried. However, the Lord leads us in interesting directions, and although I’ll never be Fr. Simon Lumby, for the Lord I lift my voice and the result is… well, at least honest.
The liturgy for the Nursery Rhyme Mass can be found on its own website: http://www.nurseryrhymemass.org.uk/ Use freely!
This liturgy is published in my book “Creative Ideas for Sacramental Worship with Children” which you can get from Amazon or direct from me.
This was the first Eucharist celebrated in this Church of England School for some years: a scary, nervous moment for which I benefited greatly from the prayers of the OnlineChurch. We have been building up to this point from my beginnings here, and in 3 months, this is what we have achieved. A tribute to them: a fantastic school and more importantly, the Lord whom we worship.
